About Me
Hi, I'm Sandra van der Jagt. I'm a registered nurse, an international board certified lactation consultant (IBCLC) with over 10 years combined experience in delivery suite, postnatal and neonatal intensive care (NICU) and a mom of two young girls. I'm here to support you through any stage of breastfeeding and lactation!
Maybe breastfeeding isn't going the way you imagined. Maybe you're wondering why no one warned you breastfeeding can be so challenging when it's supposed to be natural? So much about parenting can leave us feeling uncertain and vulnerable. It really does take a village. I'd love to be a part of your village to build your confidence and help make your breastfeeding/lactation journey more manageable and enjoyable.
Single home or virtual visit
Whether you want to learn more about breastfeeding before your baby arrives or you have already started your breastfeeding journey and things aren't going the way you hoped. Or perhaps you just have lots of questions or are looking for reassurance.
The visit includes helping with a feed and problem-solving specific issues you may be having.
Together we will create a plan to help you move forward.
One week of text/email support is included.
Packages
Antenatal/postnatal package:
A first visit (virtually or in your home) before baby arrives followed by text/email support until baby arrives. The second visit can be anytime after baby arrives to ensure things are on the right track or to troubleshoot specific issues you may have. This is followed by text/email support for one week.
Initial plus follow-up package:
Ideal if you are experiencing more complex issues or you feel you will want ongoing support. This includes an initial 2 hour visit plus a one hour follow-up visit. Each visit includes one week of text/email support.
Extras
